A New Exterior, Not Another Patch Pass

The open CAD surfaces were replaced with a closed volumetric envelope, united and reduced to 200,000 triangles. Nearby parts merge; tiny details are softened or omitted. This deliberately prioritizes a continuous, watertight exterior over exact CAD fidelity.

Visible recesses and spaces between pipes can remain, but their surfaces are closed—not missing polygons or open mesh borders.

Deliberate Shape Changes

A 12 mm-thick envelope and 3 mm voxel spacing were used under the existing scale assumption. The exterior expands by approximately 6 mm before smoothing. Forty-one tiny disconnected remesh fragments were discarded; the main engine and connected pipework remain.

Approximate final dimensions: 1.695 × 1.054 × 1.078 m. Physical scale still follows the earlier assumption that the CAD numerical dimensions were millimetres. This is a simplified visual exterior, not a dimensionally exact replacement for the CAD assembly.
