Ten Operating Rules

One Container

All ForgeFX social-post copy preferences, platform conventions, and requester-specific refinements live in forgefx-social-posts. New people and platforms get added there instead of creating scattered one-off skills.

Read Before Writing

Fetch the LinkedIn post and every article or link it contains. The draft must reflect the actual substance, not just the headline or preview card.

Use Channel Continuity

Check the last 3–5 posts in the target channel first. If the new item is on the same project or topic, write it as the next beat in an ongoing conversation.

Follow the Proven Structure

Start with who published and what it is about, add one concrete substance sentence, include a team-credit sentence, then use “Full article below” plus a direct call to action and the bare URL.

Keep It Short

Aim for roughly 300–600 characters plus the link, usually 3–4 sentences. These are channel shares, not article summaries or press releases.

Ban Hype Words and Emoji

Avoid “excited,” “proud,” and “honored,” plus :tada:, :rocket:, :fire:, and :rotating_light:. Warm emoji such as :thanks: are allowed when the requester uses them naturally.

Avoid Rejected Phrasing

Do not use “Give it a read,” “Solid third-party look,” or “Worth a read if it resonates.” Prefer “wrote an article” over “covered.”

No Hype, No AI Slop

The voice should be casual, intelligent, informative, and specific. Use concrete details, plain language, and collaborative thought-leadership framing without marketing gloss.

Credit the Team Directly

Include one sentence that speaks to the team about why the attention matters for their work, credibility, collaboration, or industry relevance.

Draft, Do Not Post

ForgeBot prepares the draft for Kris or the requester to repost as a human. Corrections from the reviewer become skill updates so the next draft starts closer to final.
